Grace Amidst the Citadel

Padmini Palace is a remarkably elegant three-story structure situated within the southern part of Chittorgarh Fort. It is uniquely surrounded by a lotus pool, which served as a natural cooling system and a beautiful aesthetic feature.

The palace is inextricably linked to the legend of Rani Padmini, whose beauty and bravery are celebrated in the poem 'Padmavat'. It stands as a symbol of the courage of Mewar's women.

Constructed as a summer retreat for the royal family, the palace was designed to be a peaceful sanctuary away from the main administrative buildings.
