The Lakefront Abode
Ratan Singh Palace, also known as the Winter Palace, is situated on the northern end of Chittorgarh Fort. It was built by Maharana Ratan Singh II (not to be confused with the earlier husband of Rani Padmini) in the early 16th century.
The palace is uniquely positioned overlooking the Ratneshwar Talab (lake), which provides a peaceful and scenic backdrop. It was designed as a pleasure palace for the royal family to enjoy during the cooler months.
