Sacred History
In the year 1840, based on a dream of a shepherd named Bholanath Gurjar, three identical idols of Lord Krishna (Sanwaliya ji) were found during excavation on the border of Bhadsauda-Bagund village.
These three idols were installed in three different locations: Prakatya Sthal (the discovery spot), Bhadsauda (the oldest temple), and Mandafiya (the grandest temple), creating a sacred triangle of devotion that draws millions of pilgrims annually.
The Three Sacred Idols
Prakatya Sthal
Located at the Bhadsauda-Bagund border, this is the exact spot where the idols were un-earthed from the ground.
Bhadsauda (Oldest Temple)
The second idol was installed here, making it the oldest formal temple of Sanwaliya ji in the region.
Mandafiya (Sanwaliya Dham)
The third and grandest temple, situated in Mandafiya, is known as Sanwaliya ji Dham and serves as the primary spiritual center.
